Why do some people seem to have such a hard time in life, while other people just seemingly have it made? It isn't always that those who have it easy actually have it easy. There is a lot into making things look easy, and it doesn't mean that nothing went in to making it look easy for some. Those who have it hard don't necessarily have it hard, but maybe they just make things difficult on themselves. There really are no clear reasons for why some have it easier than others other than maybe some just have connections and talent.

Connections really can make things easier on you. If you are married to the bosses daughter, or you happen to have something on someone, you will have an easy life. Promotions, raises, and a lighter schedule could be some perks that are thrown your way because of what or who you know. Honestly, this is the biggest reason why I see some people having it easier than others, and why I think some people just have it made at work.

Talent is another thing that allows some to have an easier time at work than others. If you know what you're doing, and you have a passion for it, you will do a better job than most. It isn't that you were just handed something, but you were given a talent by God that will allow you to do something so much easier than others. You still will work hard, it just is that the hard work you put in will reap a lot more results for you.

Not having connections is a big reason why some people have it so hard. I'm not talking about being in the doghouse or something, but either you are too quiet, or you just don't have people skills. You don't know who to talk to, or who can really raise your profile in the company, and so you get stuck doing more for a longer period of time. You might be able to get ahead one day, but it is going to take a lot of time before you really get ahead.

Not having talent is another key reason why you don't get ahead easily. If you aren't any good at your job, you won't really get considered for promotions or raises. Can you really blame your boss for not promoting you for doing a bad job? There is nothing that you can really do except for try harder, or just not stay at your current job. Find something that is better suited for you, or you will be toiling in the same industry for a long time.

Talent, and connections are reasons why some people have it better than others. If you have no talent, but you have people skills you can get ahead. If you have no people skills, but you have talent, it will probably get you ahead in life as well. If you have neither, it won't matter either way.
